PA Players present “Legally Blonde”
The PA Players will be performing their fall production of “Legally Blonde” on Nov. 16-18 at the Roberta Doore Auditorium.
The play’s heroine is Elle Woods (Emma Daley), a blonde-haired, guy-obsessed young woman, until her boyfriend, Warner Huntington III (Carlos Conde) dumps her for not being serious enough. In an effort to prove to him that she is not just some dumb blonde, she follows him to Harvard Law School, where she struggles to fit in.
While billed as a musical comedy, “Legally Blonde” tackles some feminist issues. Elle then begins to realize that, rather than chasing guys, she prefers to be positive and smart, and women can be strong, smart individuals on their own.
The play is directed by Ms. Parkinson, and the musical director is Mrs. Braggins.
Tickets will be sold in advance for $5 or $8 at the door.
