The PA Players will perform “Clue” for their spring drama production from May 3-5.
The stage production of “Clue” is based on Hasbro’s classic board game, as well as the 1985 feature film. It is a mystery-comedy set in a mansion with a group of dinner guests. When the host of the dinner party turns up dead, the rest of the guests must work to figure out who committed the crime.
Director Ms. Parkinson said that she is excited about the cast and the play the PA Players chose to perform on stage.
“The cast had a lot of fun with ‘The Play that Goes Wrong’ last year and really thrive on comedic, lively shows that can afford a bit of improv,” Ms. Parkinson said. “’Clue’ is a modern classic in this genre with well-known characters and a funny plot.”
The play will feature PA actors Jackson Kelly (Wadsworth), Leilani Belanger (Yvette), Anna Baldoumas (Miss Scarlet), Laci Donovan (Mrs. Peacock), Sofia Mechachonis (Mrs. White), Sam Nereson (Colonel Mustard), Camden Ouellette (Professor Plum), Bradley Cepeck (Mr. Green) and Ash Hurley (Mr. Boddy) in the lead roles.
“This is a hilarious cast that works really well together,” said Ms. Parkinson. “During our first practice, we had a blast. It was funny, quick, and they did a great job.”
Tickets will go on sale in mid-April for $5 and can be purchased during lunches or in the main office.
