When morning  announcements during Advisory ended in 2017, PA needed a new solution to disseminate information to the school.

With the new flat screen televisions placed around the school, The Media Club, advised by Ms. Quesnell and Mrs. Cunningham, found their solution. 

“The idea is to present information about Pembroke Academy that everyone has access to,” said Mrs. Cunningham, a business teacher. “That way, no one is left out.” 

School announcements, trivia, weather, and lunch menus will appear on the televisions throughout the school day.

“What I’m most excited about is that the kids can collectively work together to make all of these things happen,” Mrs. Cunningham said. “It’s so much fun to see unfold.” 

The flatscreen television are anticipated to arrive Thanksgiving Break with green tape currently marking the areas where they will be hung. 

Mrs. Cunningham said The Media Club welcomes any suggestions or ideas about what students would like to see to appear on the screens.
