The senior class is hosting a lock-in on Friday, Feb. 8 from 8 p.m. to Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8 a.m. . The cost will be $15 per person, and all proceeds will benefit the Class of 2019

The class has planned many events for night, including movies and games. For food, they will be serving pizza and a pancake breakfast.

Additionally, the senior class will be using this opportunity to make decorations and prepare for Winter Carnival.

The students attending are excited for the event.

“I’m most excited for making Winter Carnival decorations, practicing games and eating pizza,” said senior Jolene Griffin, the class vice-president and former Spartans Speak scribe.

Last year, the Class of 2019 held their first lock-in, and attendees seemed to enjoy it, said senior class co-advisor Ms. Ficken.

“The senior class really enjoys spending this time together, and we are able to do our bigger decorations for Winter Carnival,” said Ms. Ficken, a member of the PA English Department. “Really, it’s mostly a bonding experience for our last year together.”
