Break out the flapper dresses and Gatsby tuxedos. 

This year’s prom will be  held at the Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, N.H., on  June 3  with the theme of “The Roaring 20s.”

The event is organized  by the Class of 2022, who decided on the theme.

“ [The Roaring 20s]  was a period known for its glitz, glamor and people going very big,” said Mr. Benard, who is the co-advisor for the junior class with Ms. Gelinas. The theory behind choosing this year’s prom theme is that  everyone can “be glamorous for a evening,” he added.

But Mr. Benard said that the theme decorations will be tasteful.  “It’s going to have a much more subtle feeling,” he said. “By and large, it has a lot more having to do with the venue, and the venue only allows certain amount of decorations.”

The cost of tickets is estimated to be between $80-100. “The tradition of the event tends to sell its self,” said Mr. Benard.
