Yearbooks for the 2018-19 Pembroke Academy school year are available for purchase through the school website. The yearbooks cost $80, and this year’s theme of “Now and Then” recognizes PA’s Bicentennial celebration.

“We are incorporating things from both past and present into various yearbook features and the layout,” said Ms. Thompson, the yearbook’s co-advisor with Ms. LePage.

PA is going through Jostens to produce the yearbooks, as they offer some other capabilities, like a phone app called “ReplayIt” that can be used for students to submit their own school-appropriate photos for the yearbook, said Ms. Thompson in an email.

She said the cover of the yearbook will be a lenticular print that shows the PA building in 2019 and, when tilted, the building from 1819.

“In addition to the cover, we are including features on children of PA alumni from each class, including comments from both the students and their parents,” said Ms. Thompson.

According to Ms. Thompson, one of the goals for the yearbook is to have every student in featured three times and a higher quality for the sports photos than last year.

The Bicentennial, however, is the theme and this year’s main focus.

“In short, PA has some amazingly rich history and traditions, and we are trying to capture some highlights of them in this year’s book,” said Ms. Thompson.
