Talent show auditions to be held Thursday

On Thursday, Feb. 10, auditions for the school talent show will be held in the PA auditorium from 2:30-4 p.m.

Any performance is welcomed—as long as it is school-appropriate. On Feb. 12, a final list of acts will be announced and rehearsals will begin taking place the following week. The talent show itself will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23. at 7 p.m.

There are currently six acts signed up to audition, according to Student Senate co-advisor Ms. Fontaine. If one wishes to audition, they can also do so by scanning the QR code located on promotional posters or visiting Ms. Fontaine in Room 1004.

Ms. Fontaine said she is looking forward to the production.

“I love that Student Senate is a student-run organization and as such, the students really plan the entire talent show,” said Ms. Fontaine. “Ms. Mullen [co-advisor] and I are there to support them, but I love watching all of their hard work pay off and enjoying a unique display of students’ talents each year.”

It is rumored that headmaster Dr. Morris will be participating this year, said Ms. Fontaine.

Last year’s school talent show was planned to be virtual before it was canceled. This year marks PA’s return to the in-person version of the show.

If someone has any questions regarding the show, they are encouraged to email either Ms. Fontaine or music teacher Mr. Thibodeau.
