The PA Player’s will perform Michael Frayn’s comedy “Noises Off” on April 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. with a Sunday matinee on April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Roberta Doore Auditorium.

The spring production is comprised of three acts. In Act I, the “audience” is watching the actors rehearse for a play titled “Nothing On” and the actors are woefully unprepared, and the audience is hoping the actors can pull it together.

Act II then flips to backstage where things have gone from bad to worse, and in Act III, a month later, the tour is coming to an end, and things start to go terribly wrong.

The play is directed by Dean of Students Ms.Parkinson and social studies teacher Ms. Frostholm, and features (in order of appearance): Emma Daley, Jonah Reycroft, EJ St. Pierre, Megan Teasck, Samantha Boyajian, Perrin Rienert, Alese Mehegan, Taylor Smith and Joey Francoeur.

Ms. Parkinson said in an email that the play involves “traditional farce styling.”

“During the run of the show, the cast falls apart, relationships are questioned, and there are just way too many plates of sardines, boxes, bags and doors,” she wrote.

Tickets for the play are $3 in advance and $5 at the door.
