In the last regular season game, Pembroke Academy girls soccer team tied 1-1 with Bow High school on Oct. 19, putting PA in second place in the NHIAA standings.

In the past ten years, this is the highest ranking the Pembroke Academy girls’ soccer girls has achieved.

The team currently has a record of 13-2-1. On Sunday, Oct. 28, PA defeated Souhegan in the quarterfinals, advancing to the semifinals.

The last time the girls soccer team was semifinals was in 2016.

“The soccer team has a lot of individual talent that has come together quite well this year,” said senior Katie Muise, four-time Pembroke Academy girls soccer player.

Although the girls were in the shadows of the boys soccer championship win last year, the team is getting ready for playoffs.

“This year everyone has worked really hard,” said senior captain Hannah Serafin. “From the start of the season we have focused on the end goal, which was making it far into the playoffs. Although we have a large roster, everyone’s done their job and that’s all I can ask for.”

PAWS, however, lost the semi-final game to Milford, 2-0, finishing the season with a record of 13-2-3.
