The PA Players’ spring production of “Noises Off” is currently in production. The play will be performed at The Roberta Doore Auditorium on April 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. with a matinee on April 14 at 2 p.m.

According to the director of the Drama Club Ms. Parkinson, “Noises Off” is a play that they have been looking at for years.

“It’s funny, like really funny,” said Ms. Parkinson. “The show takes place in three acts and during this time period the show falls apart, and what starts out as just nerves and stress in Act 1 becomes all-out sabotage and fights by Act 3.”

The cast for this show consists of nine students, said Ms. Parkinson

“I’m excited to see some of the actors now working backstage to experience different parts of the theater profession,” she said.

The cast shares her exuberance.

“I’m excited to explore what I can do as an actor with this role and just theater in general is so much fun,” said senior Joey Francoeur, who is playing Selsdon.

For senior Emma Daley, “Noises Off” is her last hurrah with the Players.

“I decided to audition for the play because this will be my last show with the PA Players before I graduate and being able to be a part of it was a priority,” said senior Emma Daley, who is playing the role of Dotty/Mrs. Clackett.

Members of the finalized cast include freshman Jonah Reycroft and Megan Teasck; sophomore Perrin Reinert; juniors Alese Mehegan, EJ St. Pierre, Taylor Smith and Sami Boyajian; and seniors Francoeur and Daley.
